Adult ministry
In line with our mission to know Christ and to make him known, our pathway for spiritual growth moves from Sunday morning worship to joining a Life group where we study the Bible and enjoy fellowship as believers. Life groups function usually bi-weekly on various days of the week and are always open to welcome new members. As you get established in our church family we welcome you to step in to serve in some way in our body. Reach out to a leader in a ministry to inquire further and do explore joining a Life group as we journey together toward the Celestial city!

Children's ministry
At Green Ridge, we recognize what a great privilege it is to come alongside parents in the teaching and training of their children in the Word of God. Every Sunday our dedicated teachers and leaders welcome children of nursery age up to teenagers. During the service, children join with the adults for worship and prayer before they are invited to go downstairs for Junior Church. Here they will find their faith strengthened in who God is and challenged through a variety of mediums including games, videos, crafts and more. We take the security of your children seriously and have a rigorous safety policy in place for just that reason. We envision the church family as a supporter of dads and moms in the home raising their children in the discipline and instruction of the LORD (Deuteronomy 6:4-9. Ephesians 6:1-4). We offer the New City Catechism for parents to use at home in family devotional times.

New Growth Garden
On the property of Green Ridge Baptist is a community garden in place to offer practical and spiritual blessing using the wonderful opportunity of gardening. We find the beauty and creativity of our Creator as we get into the soil! There are community and personal plots; and we welcome people to join in the work and harvest from this garden. In the months of July and August, come join from 10 am to 12 noon to help in the garden and to enjoy tea and treats at the picnic tables. All are welcome!

International Studend Ministries Canada
International Student Ministries Canada (ISMC) is a Christian charitable organization incorporated in Canada and supported by partners and friends who share the vision to empower international students to impact the world through Jesus Christ. Our focus is to love international students unconditionally, partner with local churches in leading international students to discover Jesus through the Word of God, and prepare them to serve God where He leads them.
Randy Janzen has been a missionary with ISMC since 2021, and his wife Myriam joined the mission in 2022. Together they desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the nations that have come to Sherbrooke, and to equip the students to do likewise when they return to their homeland.
